D&D BOOKING TERMS
v1.0 — Effective 6 May 2026
ZDPrinting Dungeons & Dragons Session Booking Terms and Conditions
1. These Terms
These Booking Terms apply to every booking for a Dungeons & Dragons session run by ZDPrinting (a "Session"). They apply in addition to ZDPrinting's general Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, and Refund & Cancellation Policy. If there is any inconsistency, these Booking Terms apply for D&D Sessions.
By booking a Session — for yourself or a child — you agree to these Booking Terms, the Code of Conduct, and (where the player is under 18) the Child Safety Policy.
2. Who Can Book
- If you are 18 or over, you can book for yourself.
- If you are under 18, your parent or guardian must complete the booking and the Parental Consent Form on your behalf.
- You must give accurate information at the time of booking, including any medical, accessibility, or content sensitivities ZDPrinting needs to know about.
3. Session Types
3.1 Public per-seat Sessions
- Sold by the seat. Currently run weekly at Professor Plum's, Crows Nest.
- ZDPrinting allocates Players to a DM and table.
- Players in the same Session may not know each other and may be a mix of ages within an advertised age range.
- Sessions run for the advertised duration. Late arrivals miss the missed time without rebate.
3.2 Private per-hour Sessions
- Booked by the hour for a private group (e.g. a birthday party, a friend group, a family).
- Currently run at Decked Out Gaming, Brookvale, or another venue agreed by ZDPrinting.
- The booker is responsible for the conduct of their group.
4. Payment
- All Sessions must be paid for at the time of booking unless ZDPrinting agrees otherwise in writing.
- Prices are in Australian Dollars and include GST where applicable.
- Payment is processed through Stripe or another payment platform nominated by ZDPrinting. ZDPrinting does not store your card details.
5. Cancellations, Refunds and No-Shows
ZDPrinting's full Refund & Cancellation Policy applies. In summary:
- Public per-seat Sessions: full refund if cancelled at least 24 hours before the start time; no refund for cancellations within 24 hours. However, where a Player is unwell, contact us as soon as possible — we will normally offer a credit toward a future Session.
- Private per-hour Sessions: full refund if cancelled at least 7 days before the booked date; no refund for cancellations within 7 days. If a private booking is cancelled within the no-refund window because the booker or a key Player is unwell, contact us as soon as possible — we will normally offer a credit toward a future Session, valid for 6 months.
- Genuine emergencies: ZDPrinting will consider exceptional circumstances on a case-by-case basis. Contact us as soon as possible.
- No-shows: Players who do not attend without notice are not entitled to a refund.
- Cancellation by ZDPrinting: If ZDPrinting cancels a Session for any reason (including the DM being unavailable, insufficient Player numbers, venue closure, or force majeure), ZDPrinting will offer a reschedule or a full refund at the booker's choice.
6. Content and Safety at the Table
- D&D involves cooperative storytelling that may include peril, conflict, and difficult themes. The DM keeps content age-appropriate to the youngest Player at the table.
- Sessions involving any Player under 18 will not include sexual or sexually suggestive content of any kind. This is non-negotiable.
- DMs use safety tools (such as lines and veils, an X-card, or an open door) to make it easy for any Player to skip or step away from content they're uncomfortable with.
- If you have specific content concerns, tell us at the time of booking or at session zero.
7. Code of Conduct
Every Player and any guest at a Session must follow the ZDPrinting Code of Conduct. In summary: be respectful, no harassment or hate speech, no drugs or alcohol, listen to the DM and venue staff.
ZDPrinting may remove a Player from a Session, end a Session early, or refuse future bookings for breaches of the Code of Conduct. Refunds are not available where a Player is removed for breach.
8. Under-18 Players
- A parent or guardian must complete the Parental Consent Form before the Player's first Session. The form covers emergency contacts, medical information, content sensitivities, photo permissions, and pickup arrangements.
- For Players under 14, parents or guardians are encouraged to remain at or near the venue during the first Session, and to confirm pickup arrangements for subsequent Sessions.
- DMs do not communicate with under-18 Players outside ZDPrinting's approved channels. If you want to contact a DM about your child, contact ZDPrinting directly.
- ZDPrinting follows its Child Safety Policy at every Session.
9. Photography and Recording
- ZDPrinting may take occasional photographs of Sessions for promotion. Players (or parents of under-18 Players) consent to incidental, non-identifying photography unless they opt out via the booking form or in writing.
- Identifiable photos of Players under 18 will not be used without specific written parental consent.
- Players must not record or stream Sessions without written permission from ZDPrinting and every other Player at the table (or, for under-18 Players, their parents).
10. Personal Property
- ZDPrinting is not responsible for personal property brought to a Session. Don't leave valuables unattended.
- If a Player damages venue or other Players' property, the Player (or their parent/guardian) is responsible for the cost of repair or replacement.
11. Risk and Liability
- Sessions are tabletop activities. The risk of physical injury is low, but ZDPrinting cannot guarantee a risk-free environment (e.g. trip hazards, allergens at the venue, illness from other Players).
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, ZDPrinting's liability for any single booking is limited to a refund of the amount paid for that booking.
- ZDPrinting is not liable for indirect, special, or consequential loss.
- Australian Consumer Law: Nothing in these Booking Terms excludes or limits any guarantee, right, or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded. Where ZDPrinting is permitted to limit its liability for breach of a non-excludable guarantee, that liability is limited (at ZDPrinting's option) to supplying the Session again or paying the cost of doing so.
12. Changes
ZDPrinting may update these Booking Terms from time to time. The version that applies to your booking is the one published on zdprinting.com.au at the time you book.
13. Governing Law
These Booking Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Disputes will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of NSW.
14. Contact and Complaints
Contact us at zaden@zdprinting.com.au or 0426 558 302. We aim to respond to enquiries within 2 business days. We take complaints seriously and will investigate them in line with our Code of Conduct and (where relevant) Child Safety Policy.
