ZDPrinting
TERMS & CONDITIONS
How we work together
The terms that govern ZDPrinting orders, D&D bookings, and custom work.
OVERVIEW
About These Terms
These terms govern the services provided by ZDPrinting, operated by Zaden Dawit (ABN available on request) based in Willoughby, NSW, Australia. By submitting an enquiry or placing an order you agree to these terms. If you are unsure about anything, ask before you commit.
QUOTES & APPROVALS
How Quotes Work
All quotes are based on the information provided at the time of enquiry. Quotes are valid for 14 days unless otherwise stated. A quote is not a binding commitment until you explicitly confirm in writing (email or message reply).
Changes After Quote
If your brief changes after a quote is issued — different size, quantity, finish, or complexity — we reserve the right to revise the price. We will always let you know before proceeding.
PAYMENTS
Deposit
A 50% deposit is required before work begins on any custom job. The remaining 50% is due on completion and before dispatch or pickup. For small standard jobs (under $50) full payment may be required upfront.
Payment Methods
Payment is accepted via bank transfer, PayPal, or Stripe. Payment links are sent when your quote is confirmed. We do not accept cash for postage orders.
Non-Payment
If payment is not received within 7 days of invoice, we reserve the right to pause or cancel the order. Any work already completed may be retained until the outstanding balance is settled.
CUSTOM WORK
Custom Fabrication
All 3D printing and modelling is custom work. Once production has started, cancellations are not accepted and refunds are limited (see Refunds & Cancellation policy). Approve your quote carefully before confirming.
File Submission
You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of any files, references, or designs you submit. We will not reproduce licensed characters or branded intellectual property without evidence of rights. Submitting a file implies you own or have permission to use it.
Tolerances & Fit
FDM 3D printing has inherent tolerances. We print to the best achievable accuracy for the material and geometry, but we cannot guarantee exact dimensional fit for mechanical assemblies without test prints. Discuss tolerance-critical projects before ordering.
Colour & Finish
Printed colours may vary slightly from on-screen swatches. Different filament batches can have minor hue differences. We will match your request as closely as the available materials allow and flag any significant differences before printing.
LEAD TIMES
Standard Lead Times
Indicative lead times: 3D printing 1–5 days; 3D modelling 3–10 days; minis and terrain 5–14 days; props and cosplay 7–21 days. These are guides, not guarantees. Complex, large, or multi-part jobs take longer.
Rush Orders
Rush processing is available for some order types. Rush fees apply. Availability is not guaranteed — contact us to confirm before planning around a specific date.
Delays
We will notify you of any unexpected delays as soon as possible. We are not liable for delays caused by circumstances outside our control including supplier issues, equipment failure, or illness.
D&D SESSIONS
Booking
Public session bookings are confirmed on receipt of full payment. Private session bookings are confirmed on receipt of the deposit (50%) and written agreement of date, time, and format.
Session Conduct
All participants are expected to follow our Code of Conduct and Child Safety Policy (available on the website). We reserve the right to remove any participant who behaves in a way that is harmful, harassing, or disruptive, without refund.
Session Content
Content is tailored to the group. Age-appropriate themes are applied by default for any session that includes minors. If you have specific content requirements or restrictions, advise us at booking.
DELIVERY & POSTAGE
Postage
We post Australia-wide. Postage is calculated based on weight and destination and added to the invoice. We use tracked postage for all orders. We are not responsible for delays or losses caused by Australia Post or courier services once dispatched.
Packaging
We pack all items carefully. Fragile pieces are bubble-wrapped and boxed. If damage occurs in transit, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos and we will work with you on a resolution.
Pickup
Local pickup is available from Willoughby, NSW by prior arrangement. No postage charge applies for pickup orders.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Customer-Supplied Designs
You retain ownership of designs you supply. By submitting a design you grant us a limited right to reproduce it for your order only.
Our Designs
Any 3D model we create for you is yours to use for the agreed purpose. We retain the right to use photos of the finished work in our portfolio unless you request otherwise before the job begins.
Licensed Characters
We will not reproduce copyrighted or trademarked characters without appropriate licensing. If you submit a file featuring licensed IP, we will advise you to confirm your usage rights before proceeding.
LIABILITY
Limit of Liability
Our total liability for any claim related to an order is limited to the amount paid for that specific order. We are not liable for indirect loss, lost revenue, or consequential damage.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against any claim arising from files or designs you submitted that infringe third-party intellectual property rights.
