REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY
Our commitment to fair resolution
How we handle cancellations, refunds, and changes for all service types.
OVERVIEW
General Principle
Because all of our work is custom-made to your specifications, refunds are limited once production begins. We strongly encourage you to review your quote carefully and ask any questions before confirming. This policy does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
3D PRINTING
Before Production Starts
You may cancel for a full refund of any deposit before we have started printing.
After Production Starts
Once printing has begun, no refund is issued for change of mind. If the finished print has a significant defect caused by us (not by the file you supplied), we will reprint or refund at our discretion.
File-Caused Issues
If a print fails or has quality issues caused by problems in the file you supplied (non-watertight mesh, incorrect scale, structural errors), a reprint requires a new order. We will flag known issues before printing if we spot them, but we cannot guarantee catching all file problems.
3D MODELLING
Before Work Starts
Full deposit refund if cancelled before modelling work begins.
Partial Completion
If modelling work is partially complete, the deposit is non-refundable. The remaining balance is not charged.
Revisions
The number of included revisions is specified in your quote. Additional revisions beyond the included rounds are charged at the applicable hourly rate.
Dissatisfaction
If the delivered model does not match the agreed brief, we will revise it at no extra cost. We do not issue refunds for stylistic preferences that differ from the agreed brief.
MINIS & TERRAIN
Painted Work
Due to the time-intensive nature of hand-painting, no refund is issued once painting has begun.
Unpainted / Print-Only
Same policy as 3D Printing above.
Damage in Transit
Report transit damage within 48 hours of delivery with photographs. We will assess and arrange a replacement or refund of the damaged portion.
PROPS & COSPLAY
Deposits
The 50% deposit is non-refundable once design or fabrication work has started.
Fit Issues
Fit and sizing issues due to inaccurate measurements you provided cannot be refunded. We can quote for modifications. For fit-critical pieces, we strongly recommend ordering a test print first.
CUSTOM PARTS
Prototypes
Prototype and test print orders are non-refundable. The purpose of a prototype is to identify fit and function issues before a full run.
Functional Failures
If a part fails due to a design error on our side (incorrect tolerances, wrong material used), we will reprint or refund. If failure is due to use beyond the intended application or incorrect measurements supplied, we cannot offer a refund.
D&D SESSION CANCELLATIONS
Public Sessions — Customer Cancellation
Cancellations made 7 or more days before the session date receive a full refund. Cancellations made 3–6 days before receive a 50% refund. Cancellations within 48 hours of the session are non-refundable. Bookings can be transferred to another upcoming session once at no charge if requested before the cutoff.
Public Sessions — No-Show
No-shows are non-refundable.
Private Sessions — Customer Cancellation
Cancellations made 14 or more days before the booked date receive a full deposit refund. Cancellations made 7–13 days before lose the deposit. Cancellations within 7 days are charged the full session fee unless the session is rescheduled.
Rescheduling
Private sessions can be rescheduled once at no charge with at least 7 days notice. Additional rescheduling may incur a $25 admin fee.
BUSINESS CANCELLATIONS
If We Cancel
If we need to cancel a confirmed session or order, you will receive a full refund of any amounts paid. If we need to reschedule, we will offer you the next available date or a full refund.
Force Majeure
We are not liable for cancellations caused by circumstances outside our control (illness, emergency, venue closure). We will offer a full refund or reschedule in these situations.
HOW TO CLAIM
Process
Email Zaden@ZDPrinting.com.au with your order reference or booking token and a description of the issue. We aim to resolve all refund requests within 5 business days. Approved refunds are processed within 5 business days via the original payment method.
