Tyranny of Dragons

The Tyranny of Dragons campaign follows your party across Faerun as the Cult of the Dragon works to drag Tiamat out of the Nine Hells. You start small, catching the edge of a conspiracy running deeper than it first appears, and the stakes keep climbing. The Cult has reach and allies you won't see coming. By the time you understand the full scope of what you're up against, you'll already be in the middle of it.

This is a long-form campaign for players who want to commit to a story. Sessions mix tactical combat with real roleplay pressure, and your decisions carry weight across multiple sessions. You'll negotiate with factions who have no love for each other and face problems with no sword-based solution. New players and veterans both fit here. The story is accessible without being watered down.

Sessions run at Professor Plum's in Crows Nest, Sydney. Two tables run simultaneously. One plays through Tyranny of Dragons as an ongoing campaign. The other runs one-shots: self-contained sessions for anyone without a long-term schedule. When you book, use the notes field to flag your table preference. It's crucial if you have a strong lean either way. The Tyranny of Dragons table runs a custom mechanic making it easy to drop in and out between sessions, so don't let the campaign label put you off. We regularly have people who show up on a casual basis rather than every week. That said, some nights a table runs low on bookings and we have to consolidate, and some nights a table fills up, so we can't always guarantee your pick. We do our best to match you. Either way, both DMs are equally equipped to run for all experience levels and ages, so you'll have a good night wherever you land.
